Not just words but THE words to describe Jakarta24, the new spunky addition to Jakarta’s magazine scene. A free monthly magazine, Jakarta24 is dedicated to revealing Jakarta as the fascinating, fun city it truly is. We will take the reader on an upstairs downstairs tour of Jakarta, from the conventional to the bizarre, from the glamorous to the seamy. We want to broaden horizons, break down barriers and entice people from their comfort zones. Ambitious? Possibly. Fun? Positively.
“Informative and Helpful” Lost no more. J24 is about making Jakarta a user-friendly city by providing fingertip information on where to go, what to do and how to do it. Information is presented as a collage of descriptive listings and light-hearted, entertaining articles.
“Interactive and Personable” People are J24. And there’s certainly no shortage of people in Jakarta – from all parts of Indonesia, from all corners of the world. J24 will be out there, interacting with its readers, making them part of the magazine through people photos, profiles and interviews; letters to the editor, quizzes and competitions and more.
“Fun and Amusing” Let J24 put some laugh in your life. To take its readers away from life’s occasional downtimes, J24 will be freely spiked with humour – from a monthly serve of jokes, funny news stories and quotable quotes to the humour of everyday life in Jakarta.

Target Audience
Who will reach for Jakarta24? While our magazine is aimed at people over 30, we are confident it will attract people of all ages and backgrounds. Wide editorial coverage of all aspects of life will ensure that everybody will find something of interest on our pages.

Expats Resident in Jakarta: This is the prime group. This group consists of a variety of ages, nationalities, socioeconomic backgrounds, interests plus the male/ female division. A large share of our magazine is targeted towards attracting this audience.

Business People: Covers the large number of regular and new businessmen who travel in and out of Jakarta.

Tourists: Caters for international tourists – from the up market to the humble backpacker.
Overflow to the Indonesian population in Jakarta. Middle class and above Indonesians who will also be interested in what’s happening in their city.
